What Beavers do

Every week, our Beavers gather in their colony to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities, working together in lodges to achieve anything they set their minds to and having lots of fun along the way.

Trying new things

Beavers dip their toes into all sorts of activities, from making things and cooking to exploring outdoors. It's all about giving things a go and finding out what they love.

Making friends

Working together in small groups called lodges, Beavers learn to share, take turns and look out for each other, and make friends along the way.

Getting outdoors

Beavers get to know the world on their doorstep: going on nature walks, having their first sleepovers and discovering how much fun a bit of mud can be.

Beavers:

  • Master new skills and try new things
  • Have fun and go on adventures
  • Make friends
  • Are curious about the world around them
  • Help others and make a difference, on their own doorsteps and beyond

Camps and sleepovers

A sleepover or a short camp with the colony, and their first night away from home for many. Camps are the part of Scouting children talk about all year.
